The Greyhounds just couldn’t find their pace as they dropped a 90-73 decision to the North Arkansas College Pioneers Saturday at Pioneer Pavilion in Harrison, Arkansas.

The Pioneers led 10-9 before going on an 8-0 run in a game that ASU Mid-South never led. Braxtyn McCuien’s three-pointer at the buzzer cut the North Arkansas lead to 4843 at the half, but the Pioneers opened the second half with a 16-5 run and the Greyhounds never threatened the rest of the way.

North Arkansas (18-4, 3-2) shot a blistering 39.4 percent from the arc in connecting on 13-of-33 three-pointers and shot 50.0 percent from the field while winning the battle of the boards, 38-33. The Greyhounds managed to shoot 42.1 percent from the field and 9-of-19 (47.4 percent) from the arc, but gave up 16 turnovers and 12 offensive rebounds.
