Annual Thanksgiving Service

The West Memphis-Marion Ministerial Fellowship is inviting everyone out to their annual Thanksgiving service on Sunday, Nov. 20, beginning at 5 p.m., hosted by Calvary Baptist Church, 1600 N. Avalon, in West Memphis. The speaker will be Rev. Horace Tipton from Trinity in the Fields. “We invite all Christian churches to join us in an evening of praise and worship as we thank God together.” An offering will be taken up to help the fellowship serve the needs of those in the community.

Sultana Open House

Crittenden County residents are invited to the old Marion gymnasium for a special “One Last Look” Open House at the site of the future Sultana Disaster Museum, from 2 to 5 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 20, ahead of the groundbreaking that will transform the historic school gym into the multi million-dollar museum and attraction honoring and highlighting America’s greatest maritime disaster. No admission charge, the public is invited.

Community Tree Lighting

Join the City of West Memphis is ringing in the holiday season at Worthington Park, 990 N. Missouri St., with the city’s annual Christmas tree lighting and community celebration. Pictures with Santa, train rides, a petting zoo, a million holiday lights and displays and more. Tuesday, Nov. 22, beginning at 6 p.m.
