The Marion courthouse square was buzzing with excitement this past Saturday as the Marion Chamber of Commerce’s Spring on the Square Arts and Craft Fair took place under cool and breezy weather.
Families from all over Marion and Crittenden County came out to enjoy the festivities, with activities and games available for both kids and adults. Children were seen laughing and playing with face painting, playing corn hole and a giant version of the game Connect Four, while adults browsed through the various stalls showcasing handmade items.
From paintings to perfumes and colognes, clothing to jewelry, there was something for everyone to purchase and enjoy. Local artists and vendors displayed their creativity and craftsmanship, drawing in curious onlookers.
Food trucks lined the square, offering a variety of delicious treats for attendees to enjoy as they shopped and explored the fair. The smell of freshly cooked food wafted through the air, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the event.

see the community come together for events like this,” said one vendor who had set up a booth selling handmade candles. “The support and enthusiasm from everyone here really make it all worth it. There’s always something to do in Marion.”
The rains from the night before cleared up and made for a beautiful breezy day of fun.
