ASU Mid-South Women’s Basketball

— The Lady Greyhounds’ postseason run ended on Sunday, March 1, in the Region 2 Basketball Tournament. ASU Mid-South fell to No. 1 North Arkansas 60-56, at Harding University's Rhodes Field House in Searcy.

— The Greyhounds will play for the NJCAA Region 2 Championship tonight after defeating No. 4 National Park in the semifinals on Sunday, March 1, 92-78. Game time as 7:30 p.m. against the winner of No. 2 SAU Tech and No. 3 North Arkansas. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, and ASU Mid-South will be live-streaming the game on the ASU Mid-South channel of NJCAATV.com.

Crittenden County Boys & Girls Club Spring Sports — Register now for any of the Crittenden County Boys & Girls Club Spring 2020 Sports programs: Tee Ball (ages 3-6) , Baseball (ages 6-12), Volleyball (ages 7-18), Co-Ed Soccer (ages 3-15) and Girls Softball (ages 6-13).

— The Blue Devils will face Beebe tonight in the first round of the 5A State Basketball Championship tournament at 5:30 p.m. at Russelvillle High School. The winner will play the winner of the Sheridan-Sylvan Hills game in round two on Friday, March 6.

Marion Boys Basketball — The Patriots will face Vilonia Thursday afternoon in the first round of the 5A State Basketball Championship tournament at 2:30 p.m.

Earle Boys Basketball — The Earle Bulldogs have advanced in the 2020 2A postseason. Earle will be in action this evening at 5:30 p.m. in the first round of the 2A State Tournament at Quitman High School, taking on Harmony Grove High School.

West Memphis Girls Basketball — The Lady Blue Devils are playing in the 5A Girls State Basketball tournament this week, taking on Little Rock Christian Academy in round one on Thursday, March 5, at 1 p.m.

The winner will play the winner of the Lake Hamilton-Parkview game on Friday, March 6, at 4 p.m.

Earle Girls Basketball — The Lady Bulldogs have advanced in the 2020 2A postseason. Earle will be in action Thursday, March 5, at 4 p.m. in the first round of the 2A State Tournament at Quitman High School, taking on Cossatot River High School.

J.W. Rich Girls Club Spring Sports — Registrations are underway for 2020 Spring Sports at the J.W. Rich Girls Club. Once again, the club will offer Spring Volleyball for girls ages 7 and up. Registration is $50 for club members and $60 for non-members. Sign up now through Saturday, March 7. The season is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 13. Additionally, the club is bringing back softball. The club will offer three age groups, tee-ball, machine pitch, and kid pitch.

Registration is underway now through Friday, May 8.

Fees are $50 for members and $60 for non-members. The season is set to start June 1.

— The 4th annual CASA 5K “Fun Run for CASA Kids” is set for Saturday, May 2, beginning at 9 a.m., at ASU Mid-South, in West Memphis. “Change A Child’s Story” with this special event. Memphis in May Triathlon — The 38th Annual Memphis in May Olympic Triathlon, one of the oldest continuous running triathlon events in the United States, presented by P.R. Event Management, LLC and in association with Memphis Tourism, the Olympic and Sprint Triathlons and Sports Expo is moving from Edmund Orgill Park in Millington where it has been held since 2015 to Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, Tenn.
