Three West Memphis players, coach represent in win for 6A East squad

WM School District Four West Memphis Blue Devils stood out last Saturday in the annual Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star football game in Conway.

The East defeated the West 34-28 as Blue Devils Devin Olloway, Mark Robinson, Hasani Adams and head coach Billy Elmore suited up for the tilt.

Elmore, who led the Blue Devils to an 11-1 record last season and a berth in the Class 6A state semifinals, was an assistant coach on the East squad.

Robinson, a North Alabama signee, was voted the game’s Most Outstanding defensive lineman. Adams also a North Alabama signee, was voted a team captain for the East.

Olloway, who dazzled Blue Devil fans last year with his speed and pass-catching ability, caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from East quaterback Demilon Brown, of Rivercrest, in the second quarter.

The East bolted to an early 14-0 lead and never looked back.
