Deangelo Brown, 23, of West Memphis passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016. Christian Funeral Directors of Memphis in charge of arrangements.

Charles Edward Dye

Charles Edward Dye, 73, passed away on Tuesday, Jan.

26, 2016, at his home in Centre, Alabama.

Mr. Dye was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lucille Dye and his sister, Martha Dye Thompson. He leaves his wife, Stella; a son Brian Parrish (Sandy); and his grandson, Parker Parrish; also a special nephew, Gary Thompson and his family; and an aunt, Dell Sims Pollard.

Charles grew up in West Memphis, attended the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

He worked for many years with Baddour, INC before joining Crown Craft INC from which he retired as one of their top salesmen. He enjoyed a good game of bridge, traveling, telling really good stories and visiting his family and friends in Arkansas.

Edward Nelson Jr.

Edward Nelson Jr., 75, of Heber Springs, Arkansas died Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 at his home in Heber Springs.

Mr. Nelson retired from Air Therm as a machinist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Nelson.

He is survived by three sons, James Nelson of West Memphis, Charles Nelson of Sandwich, Illinois and Brad Nelson of Forrest City; a step son, Glenn Moss of Colt; three daughters, Karen Andrews of Walls, Mississippi, Jennifer Burns of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Brenda Dawson of Horn Lake, Mississippi; a step daughter, Cathie Moss of West Memphis; a sister Julia Nelson of Schriever, Louisiana; a brother, Charles Nelson of Sandwich, Illinois; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with services at 1 p.m.

on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.

Hubert Seymour

Hubert Seymour, 99, of West Memphis passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016.

He was a WWII veteran for the United States Army and received two purple hearts.

When he moved to West Memphis he worked for a lumber company. He was also proud that he could send two sons to college and both receive college degrees. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in West Memphis for 20 years. He will
