Southland gives back for the holidays

WEST MEMPHIS — Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, on Nov. 21 donated 300 turkey/ ham certi_cates to organizations supporting families in need in the West Memphis community.

The donation, $7,500 in total, was presented to representatives from four different community organizations – Hope House, 8th Street Mission, Good Neighbor Love Center and Hughes Christian Outreach Ministry – to distribute during their upcoming holiday outreach events.

“Southland is committed to supporting our local community throughout the year and recognize the increased need that many organizations see during the holiday season,” said Osi Imomoh, president and general manager of Southland Casino Hotel. “By donating the turkey/ham certi_cates, we are making a meaningful impact in the West Memphis community and ensuring that families can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.”
