Why are we already seeing so much Christmas decor and items at the store? It’s not even Thanksgiving yet?

*** Why is it that every time someone in this city opens up a new restau— [ Editor’s Note: OK, full disclosure, this was the text I was typing up to use in the paper when the old Text the Times phone died after years of faithful service.
So, if you’re reading this, please take note of the new number listed above and resend your texts if you want to. Having said that, I did manage to read the whole text before it was apparently lost forever in the digital void, and it was basically about how reasaurants and stores around these parts don’t seem to last very long, along with a point about Advance Auto Parts closing. So, in short: Restaurants are incredibly hard to keep open, but with good food and good service and reasonable prices, people will show up. As for Advance Auto Parts, I honestly didn’t even know we had one, as I always use O’Reilly or AutoZone.
