ASU Mid-South falls to Itawamba Indians, 75-34

The Lady Greyhounds hit the road to Fulton, Mississippi to take on the Lady Indians of Itawamba for their first game of the season. Itawamba welcomed ASU Mid-South for the home opener for the 202425 season.

Itawamba would cruise to an 75-34 victory against the visiting Lady Greyhounds. The Lady Indians would hold an 11 point advantage after the first quarter, before pushing their lead to 24 at the half.

The Lady Indians were just too much for the Lady Greyhounds tonight, as they would continue to win every quarter. The Lady Greyhounds would only shoot 20% from the field and 0/9 from behind the arc, while also committing 33 turnovers.

ASU Mid-South will make their home opener this Friday as they host their annual Lady Greyhound Tip-Off Classic.
