Amanda Cook served for nearly two years before unexpectedly stepping down

DeltaARTS, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the arts in Crittenden County, has announced the resignation of Amanda Cook, their Executive Director, on July 27. Cook, who served nearly two years with the organization and resides in Memphis, was praised for her talent and dedication in helping to promote the arts in the community by her colleagues upon her announcement who said she will be sorely missed The DeltaARTS board also expressed their gratitude for Cook’s service and invited the community to join them in showing appreciation for her contributions. They wished her great success in her future endeavors.

“We are sorry to see Amanda go. And appreciate all the hard work she has put in as director.” said Angela Thomas, the DeltaARTS Board President, “We want all of our supporters, donors, employees, volunteers and fans to know that the business of the promoting the arts will carry on as usual and none of our exciting upcoming events or ongoing educational programs will be affected by this change. We hope that we can also continue to count on the community for their already generous support going forward.”

board has appointed Amber Meserve as the Interim Executive Director. Meserve will assume the responsibilities of the Executive Director while the organization begins the search for a permanent replacement. Thomas also mentioned that although Cook left some big shoes to feel that she is confident in her solid staff or employees and volunteers.
