Turrell to host Arkansas Black Mayors Association meeting
Community invited to Watershed Improvement discussion this evening

Anyone from Crittenden County or any of the surrounding communities with concerns or ideas about how the Arkansas Black Mayors Asociation can work to improve rural flooding issues that have plagued the region over the years is invited to come to a meeting tonight in Turrell to hear and be heard about the issue.
The Arkansas Black Mayors Association will convene at 7 p.m. this evening at the William R. Golden Community Center, located at 87 3rd St., in Turrel for a Watershed Improvement Project Options Review.
The issue, as stated in the agenda for the meeting, is to “explore possible ideas to address the flooding that occurs in your area.”
Attendees can expect an open discussion on a variety of possible projects, as as experts in the field of watershed and flood mitigation will be in attendance to provide information and insight on any proposed solutions to the flooding problem.
The meeting is open to the public.
