HCGC student wins 2019 BroadwayWorld Memphis award!
Fourth-grader Olivia Kaiser named Best Young Actress From the BWW News Desk

Following a record number of nominations and votes, winners have been announced for the 2019 BroadwayWorld Memphis Awards, brought to you by TodayTix! The nominees were set, audiences voted, and now we get to recognize local theatres and performers for their outstanding achievement!
Regional productions, touring shows, and more were all included, honoring productions which opened between Oct. 1, 2018, through Sept. 30, 2019.
Marion’s Herbert Carter Global Community Magnet’s very own 4th grader, Olivia Kaiser won Best Young Actress (under age 25) for her starring role in “Matilda” at the Playhouse On the Square theater in Memphis.
Kaiser already has an extensive acting career under her belt. In addition to appearing in numerous Crittenden Youth Theatre productions for DeltaARTS, she recently appeared in the Collierville Arts Council’s production of Miracle on 34th Street.
