Legislators co-sponsoring EACC/UofA bill
Measure would reflect community college joining University of Arkansas system

A bill that would officially recognize East Arkansas joining the University of Arkansas System has been filed in Little Rock, co-sponsored by two local legislators.
State Senator Reginald Murdock (D-AR 9) and State Rep.
Lincoln Barnett (D-Dist.
63) have filed SB-46 which would officially reflect the merger between the two higher education systems and rename EACC to The University of Arkansas-East Arkansas Community College.
