All four suspects in the July 6 shooting death of a 17-yearold in Judsonia are in custody, according to the White County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Lt. Chancey Warden, evidence and information collected from the homicide was submitted to the 17th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and arrest warrants were issued for each suspect. “With the help of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office [in Tennessee] and the United States Marshals Service. the suspects are now in custody,” Warden wrote in a news release.

The four, all from the Memphis area, were awaiting extradition hearings, Warden said in Tuesday’s release.

Jayden Solang, 18, of Cordova, Tenn., remains in the Crittenden County Detention Center and is facing charges of capital murder with accomplice, an unclassified felony; two counts of terroristic act with accomplice, class Y felonies; unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate a crime with accomplice, a class B felony; and engaging in violent criminal group activity (enhanced penalties).

Johnathan R. Arrington, 20, of Memphis is facing capital murder with accomplice; two counts of terroristic act with accomplice, unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate a crime with accomplice; and engaging in violent criminal group activity (enhanced penalties).

Kydavien N. Green, 18, of Millington, Tenn., is charged with capital murder; terroristic act; unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate a crime with accomplice; tampering with physical evidence, a class D felony; and engaging in violent criminal group activity (enhanced penalties).

J’vion Todd, 18, of Memphis is charged with capital murder; terroristic act; unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate a crime with accomplice; tampering with physical evidence; and engaging in violent criminal group activity (enhanced penalties).

Their arrests follow Brendon Berryhill being found by a deputy on patrol around 3:30 a.m. July 6 on Salem Church Road after the deputy saw “what appeared to be a vehicle strike a White male who was laying in the roadway.“ The sheriff’s office has said that it appears that Berryhill drove himself to the area after being shot in the parking lot of the Circle K convenience story at 9645 Arkansas Highway 13.

Berryhill was later pronounced dead at Unity Health-White County Medical Center.

Video footage showed Berryhill parked at the store for a short time before “another vehicle parked directly beside him,” Warden wrote. “A confrontation appears to happen where Berryhill tries to drive off and as he drives off, the suspects fire what appeared to be a handgun through an opened window.” Berryhill was struck by a shot before a “second suspect standing outside the vehicle fired a round through another window which also struck Berryhill and then fled the scene.”

A motive for the shooting has not been released. Berryhill’s parents are from Memphis while his stepmom is from Searcy. He was employed by Bill’s CashSaver in Searcy.

The suspects ended up being stopped in Crittenden County after a pursuit when the Arkansas State Police used a tactical vehicle intervention.

However, authorities have said that the state police were unaware of the homicide at the time. The driver, Solang, was arrested for “several traffic- related offenses” while the other suspects “were identified and released.”

“ASP located a firearm in the vehicle that is believed to have been used in the homicide,” Warden wrote.

Arrington was arrested July 7, but U.S. marshals were still searching for Todd and Green early last week. Green and Todd were booked in the Shelby County jail last Wednesday.

“This senseless and tragic loss of life is never acceptable and our hearts and prayers go out to the families involved,” Sheriff Phillip Miller said.

“Our dedicated deputies and detectives will work tirelessly to see that justice prevails on behalf of the victim.”

Warden said the investigation into the homicide is ongoing.
