New teachers in the Marion School District have been participating in the annual Patriot Academy this week. The Patriot Academy welcomes new teachers to the Marion School District, whether this is their first year teaching or if they have been teaching for years. This year's keynote speaker was Dr. Taryn Givan who shared her message of engaging, inspiring, and empowering all students who attend the Marion School District. Other highlights of Patriot Academy are the school bus tour of our district and time to visit with school administration before the entire faculty arrives on campus this Thursday.
