FAYETTEVILLE – Razorback All-Americans Jacob Skov Olesen (Denmark) and Maria Jose Marin (Colombia) will represent Team International at the 2024 Arnold Palmer Cup, played this week (July 5-7) at Lahinch Golf Club (Ireland).
Olesen, a second-team All-America this past season, climbed to #27 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings after winning The Amateur Open on June 22 in Ireland (Ballyliffin Golf Club) and, a week later, placed fifth at the European Am-

ateur Championship. Olesen set school records for singleseason stroke average (69.94) and rounds in the 60’s (16) while tying the school record for rounds at par or better (24).
Jose Marin, the 2024 SEC Freshman of the Year and first team All-America, is ranked #15 in the WAGR and was #6 in the final NCAA/Clippd rankings. Her freshman season with the Razorbacks included a win at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, two runner-up finishes, a fourthplace finish at the NCAA Championship and an eighthplace finish at the NCAA Las Vegas Regional. José Marin led the team in scoring average (70.83), rounds at par or better (23) and rounds in the 60’s (8).
This is the second time a Razorback male and female will be playing in the same Palmer Cup. In 2018. Alvaro Ortiz (Mexico) and Maria Fassi (Mexico) played for Team International while Alana Uriell and Dylan Kim represented Team USA.
