Razorback duo named ITA Doubles All-Americans
Barum, Horwood team earns recognigtion

FAYETTEVILLE – After advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2024 NCAA Doubles Championship, BoÏo Barun and Jared Horwood were named ITA Doubles All-Americans as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Monday.
The criteria for ITAAll-America honors include earning a top 16 seed into the NCAA Singles Championship, advancing to the round of 16 at the NCAA Championship, or finishing in the top 20 of the final ITA Singles Rankings. All-America recognition is awarded to doubles teams that earn a topeight seed into the NCAA Championship, reach the NCAA Championship quarterfinals or finish in the top 10 in the final ITA National Doubles Rankings. The tandem becomes the first Razorback team to earn ITA Doubles All-American honors since Mike Redlicki and Jose Salazar in 2017. The duo officially earned All-American status after their victory over No. 12 Hunter Heck/Karlis Ozolins (Illinois) in the Round of 16 of the NCAA Doubles Championship in Stillwater, Okla. Barun and Horwood finished the season with a 7-9 record together, including six wins against ranked opponents.
Individually, Barun recorded a 12-14 season overall in singles, going 9-12 during the dual season while playing on the top two singles courts.
Barun also collected nine doubles wins this year. Horwood compiled a 6-8 singles record in 2024, including a 5-0 mark in singles matches during the dual season while posting a 15-19 doubles record overall with three victories over top-15 opponents.
