Veterans’ legal clinic in West Memphis today
Local VFW plays host to outreach event

West Memphis, AR – The Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center is pleased to announce the Crittenden County AR Veterans Legal Clinic’s Veterans Justice Outreach event will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 12 pm to 2 pm at the VFW Post 5225 located at 406 S. Avalon St., West Memphis, AR 72401.
The Veterans Justice Outreach event aims to assist veterans with legal issues by offering free consultation visits with legal counsel. The event will focus on assisting with criminal defense/expungements, estate planning,

business law, and landlord/tenant issues. The Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center is collaborating with The Legal Aid of Arkansas & The VFW Post 5225 to provide veterans with the best possible service. During the Veterans Justice Outreach event, veterans will have access to experienced attorneys who will provide free consultation visits to help them with their legal issues. It is important to note that the meeting with an attorney is not a contractual agreement or representation for a legal matter.
This event is open to all veterans who need legal assistance. If you know any veteran who could benefit from this service, please share this information with them. Prescreening calls are recommended but not required to attend the event. Walk-ins are also accepted.
