Holiday movie fans will surely remember the end of Christmas favorite “Miracle on 34th Street” when Kris Kringle, on trial for claiming to be the “real” Santa Claus, is saved by evidence in the form of sackful after sackful of letters addressed to Santa from all over the country.

While letter writing might have fallen out of fashion over the years, kids still get into the holiday spirit each December by sending off their Christmas lists to the North Pole.

Galaleigh wants everyone to get what the ask for. Well, that’s sweet.

VPA, Bragg, Weaver, LR Jackson, West Memphis Christian and Precocity Early Childhood Development Center were given the opportunity to write a letter to Santa Claus expressing their Christmas wishes and were promised that Santa would, in fact, respond with a letter of his own.

The letters ranged from cute to heartwarming as the kids shared their requests. Just a few examples…

“For Christmas, I want a L.O.L. doll,” requested Galaleigh. “I also want some makeup accessories. I also would like a Barbie Camper with a slide. I would like for everyone to get what they ask for.”

Good luck Landree’s parents. She says she has been “a very good girl” and would like her Christmas presents to be a reflection of that behavior. “I would love to go to the North Pole and Disney World!” she writes. “Also, I would like a slime kit and a snowglobe kit.”

“How are you doing today?” asked young Ava Lee. “Please bring me slimes, and please make a Christmas miracle and make my Mommy better.”

Let’s hope these kids and all the kids of Crittenden County have something great underneath their Christmas trees this year.

Landree would like a snow globe kit and a slime kit… oh, and a trip to the North Pole… and to Disney World.
