MINGLE & JINGLE

Share

It was a very merry scene indeed last Thursday evening on the Courthouse Square in Marion as the community gathered for the annual tree lighting and the Moms of Marion’s Mingle & Jingle on the Square. In addition to the tree lighting, a host of holiday activities abounded, including performances by local student choirs, as well as the Marion Patriot Band.

Ornament decorations, a petting zoo, live Nativity animals, a Letters to Santa station, ornament decoration, and photos with Santa rounded out the festivities.

Pretty lights all aglow on the Courthouse Square.

The petting zoo was a hit with kids of all ages.

All aboard the Christmas Express!

A long line outside the Gingerbread House to see Santa Claus.

Mingling, jingling… and family photos by the tree.

The Steudlein Children’s Choir were a big hit with the crowd.

The Marion Band’s own “Little Drummer Boy” Chris Partain.

The world’s smallest reindeer? No, just a friendly pupper from the Marion Animal Shelter.
