Another day and another wreck in front of the Marion Walmart? Is it been enough for a red light yet?

What’s the magic number?

[ Editor’s Note: I assume by “ magic number” you mean how many car crashes will need to happen there before a traffic signal is installed, but in reality, there are a bunch of “ majic numbers to consider, such as the cost of constructing and installing a signal ( along with the necessary alterations to the surrounding roads and curbs), the projected number of crashes that a light would prevent at that location ( they have models to use based on historical dats and such), and the time it would add to the commute for drivers on Highway 77 ( even with the number of accidents that occur there, the traffic actually flows pretty well through that busy corridor, and a light at that location will not only slow things down, it might also actually lead to more crashes). I’m not saying that putting a traffic light there is a bad idea.

I’m just saying it might not be the ultimate solution to the problem]

runoff? Also, why open up multiple polling places on the actual election day?

Surely there won’t be that many people voting in just these four races with limited interest. Seems like a waste of money. [ Editor’s Note: Well, they sort of have to, since the Quorum Court voted down using the all- in- one Voting Centers proposed back in 2018. I am still scratching my head over that decision myself]
