STRIKE UP THE BAND!
Students at Herbert Carter Global Community Magnet honored our nation’s veterans earlier this month during the school’s fourth annual Veterans Day program, held at the Marion Performing Arts Center. The program included student speakers, patriotic songs, the National Anthem played by members of the Patriot Pride Marching Band, and a “National Call of Remembrance” featuring junior Miller Owen playing taps. MSD student musicians are already gearing up for their Christmas concerts set for December.
