Marion resident Marcus Pulliaum, 37, was detained Thursday afternoon around 5 p.m. on College Boulevard in West Memphis in an arrest that resulted in the seizure of a loaded firearm, 10 pounds of marijuana and $30,000 in cash.

West Memphis Police said agents with the Second Judicial Drug Task Force pulled over the suspect and per formed a search of the vehicle after smelling weed and found nearly 3 pounds of illegal drugs and a loaded weapon inside the car.

Agents then executed a search warrant at Pulliaum’s home on Bayou Vista Drive in Marion which resulted in the discovery of a further 7 pounds of marijuana and $31,364 in cash.

“The Second Judicial Drug Taskforce is a strong force to be reckoned with. [They] are the best of the best. This serves as a warning to those who choose to deal narcotics in Crittenden County.” said WMPD Assistant Chief Brent Bradley.

Pulliaum has been charged with possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with the purpose to deliver and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

A loaded gun, 10 lbs. of marijuana, $31,000 in cash seized in traffic stop.
