The Earle School District will be hosting a series of parent seminars ahead of the start of the 2022-23 school year.

Attendance to the seminars is required and the district is offering a wide range of meeting dates and times to accommodate parents and their schedules. Please make plans to attend Thursday, August 4, 12 noon to 7 p.m. if you have not already attended one session For additional information, contact the Earle School District at (870) 792-8486.

The J.W. Rich Girls Club is holding fall volleyball signups now through Monday, Aug. 15.

Registration is open for girls ages 7-18. The cost is $60 per player (plus membership fees if not already paid). Register online through the J.W.

‘Love & Abuse’ Summit The West Memphis Delta Plus youth summer job program is holding a community service event on Domestic violence awareness. The name of the event is “Love & Abuse” and the objective is to bring more awareness to the people about the violence that is happening around them and how to see it. The summit will take place Friday Aug. 12, at the Worthington Park West Memphis, from 2 to 6:00 p.m, featuring guest speakers, fun activities, and food provided at the event. The Marion School District has announced the dates for its monthly School Board meetings for the 2022-23 school year. The meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Central Office, 200 Manor Street, in Marion. Meetings will take place on the following dates: Aug. 18, 2022; Sept. 15, 2022; Oct. 20, 2022; Nov. 17, 2022; Dec. 15, 2022; Jan. 19, 2023; Feb. 16, 2023; March 16, 2023; April 20, 2023; May 18, 2023; and June 15, 2023. The public is invited to attend.
