FROM BLUE DEVIL TO FLYING SQUIRREL

Former West Memphis Blue Devil pitching standout Gray Fenter got to visit with his parents, Dr. Glen and Jody Fenter, last week ahead of his game as a member of the Richmond Flying Squirrels out in Richmond, Virginia. The Flying Squirrels are the AA minor league affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Fenter and the squirrel squad recently clinched a postseason berth with their 40-29 start to the 2022 season. Fenter, who is swapping between starting and relieving with the Flying Squirrels, has 42 strikeouts in 36 innings pitched this season.
