Tokens of Appreciation

The West Memphis Police Department was on both the giving and receiving end of two tokens of appreciation recently. At Maddux Elementary School, Nurse Caitie was given a basket of goodies by officers for an “act of bravery” she displayed during an unfortunate event, noting “things could have been much worse if it weren’t for her actions.” Also recently, officers assisted with a breakin at Evolve Bank. Last week, the Evolve staff treated them to lunch “because the great job they did handling the situation.”
