United Pastors Praying in Harvard Yard, a community event, set for Saturday, April 2, from noon to 3 p.m. Coordinated by Dorothy Cooper, everyone will meet at 83 Harvard Rd., and will walk the neighborhoods, followed by a free meal to the community after the walk.

The Crittenden County Junior Auxiliary will host its annual “Chari-Tee” Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 2, at Cypress View Golf & Recreation Center in Marion. 4-person scramble format, $400 per team, cash payouts, lunch and drink specials, registration begins at 8 a.m.

Proceeds to benefit JACC’s service projects and children of Crittenden County.

The City of Crawfordsville will be hosting “The Wall That Heals,” a Vietnam Veterans Memorial replica and education center, from Thursday, April 7 through Sunday, April 10, at the old Crawfordsville school yard. The exhibit will be open 24 hours daily and there is no admission charge.

The West Memphis Police Department is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt with the Crittenden County Boys & Girls Club at Worthington Park, 990 N. Missouri St., on Saturday, April 9, from noon to 2 p.m., for children ages 2-10. Come take pictures with the Easter Bunny, enjoy prizes, candy, snow cones and more. ‘Changing Directions, Changing Lives’ A Legal Clinic to Seal Misdemeanor & Felony Records in Crittenden County, Arkansas to be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Lehr Arena in West Memphis. This local initiative is part of the process to eliminate barriers that effect employment, housing, and education for those who are not able to afford basic legal services. Judges, Prosecutors, Court Clerks, Notaries and other legal staff will volunteer their time to make the normal 30 day process happen in a matter of hours. This opportunity is free and open to the public. Appointments are required. Start the process by visiting the “Changing Directions Changing Lives” Facebook page to sign up.

The Earle Alumni Club presents the return of Bulldog Day, a “homecoming style” community event, Saturday, April 16 at the park. STEM presentations, kick ball, sack races, Live music by DJ A1 and more. Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. at Mt. Beulah Church.

Marion School Board The Marion School District has released its calendar for the monthly School Board meetings for the remainder of the 2021-22 school year. All meetings are held at 6 p.m., at the Central Office, 200 Manor Street, in Marion. Meetings will take place on: Apr. 21, May 19, and June 16, The public is invited to attend.
