Anyone else think this whole deal with the fourday school week is just a distraction to keep us from noticing that they are still forcing our kids to wear masks and breathe their own exhale long after it has been proven to be ineffective at stopping Covid?
*** Another week another school on lockdown. This used to be a safe place to raise a family now it’s not safe to send our kids to school! [ Editor’s Note: Full disclosure: These two texts came from the same number, strangely enough, about two hours apart. It’s like this person freaked out about the four- day school day proposal, got even more worked up, and decided to text about the “ lockdown,” which as reported here, was actually nothing more than a hoax.
Even the “ other” lockdown wasn’t even anything related to the school and happened in another part of town. I, for one, am always going to side with the school and the police in taking all the necessary steps to make sure everyone is safe. A lockdown isn’t a sign that something has gone terribly wrong.
It’s a sign that those in charge are doing what needs to be done to keep something terribly wrong from happening. And for the record, your kids are safe. My kid is right there with them, and if I thought she wasn’t safe, I’d be the first to say so]
