Armed juvenile carjackers from Memphis apprehended in West Memphis

Building security video caught a long line of multi-agency police pursuit vehicles as armed carjackers were apprehended on Mound City Road on Wednesday. Memphis Police chased the stolen car into Arkansas and witnessed it crash into a ditch off the Interstate 55 and Mound City Road exit. The pair of suspects fled on foot down the levee. The West Memphis Police booked the two 16-year-olds. The Memphis Police, Arkansas State Police, Crittenden County Sheriff Deputies, and West Memphis Police joined forces in the vehicle pursuit and foot search. The juveniles were set for extradition to Memphis.
