Don’t miss the Arkansas Holiday Trail of Lights

The Arkansas Trail of Holiday Lights continues now through the end of the year with a statewide celebration of the holiday season.

Towns across The Natural State are taking part with events and activities.

Displays in many locations will be lit into the new year, offering a fun way to hit the road and spend time with friends and family. To view locations and events, go to Arkansas.com/trailofholidaylights.

Arkansas residents and travelers have made the Trail of Holiday Lights an annual holiday tradition for more than 25 years. Cities and towns across the state get into the spirit, decking the halls and bringing families together.

The City of Jacksonville will host its Holiday Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 at City Hall to illuminate its displays and kick off the Christmas season! After the Lighting Ceremony, follow Main Street to downtown to see additional lighting and displays new this year.

The 61st Annual Jacksonville Christmas Parade will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8 The nighttime parade will feature illuminated floats and Santa will make an appearance! The parade begins at the corner of Sharp and Main Streets and will end at the First United Methodist Church.

Enchanted Forest

Sherwood’s Enchanted Forest Trail of Lights is a drive-thru trail with the entrance located at the Sherwood Sports Complex, 420 Dee Jay Hudson Drive. The 2021 event opens Friday, Nov. 19 and runs through Dec. 30 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The gates to the Sports Complex will close at 9:30 p.m. to allow ample time for the vehicles within the parking lot gates to make it through the trail.

The Trail of Lights is over a mile of spectacular lights. Admission is free but donations to fund future displays are accepted.

Northeast Arkansas

In its third year, Christmas at the Park in Jonesboro is a winter wonderland, over a half-mile drive through attractions with over 60 collections, consisting of nearly 450 pieces decorated with over 400,000 lights.

Enjoy the Snowflake Forest, take a photo with Santa, drive through one of the longest lighted tunnels in the country. Christmas at the Park opens Nov. 24.

In Walnut Ridge, head to Stewart Park and celebrate the season with Christmas in the Ridge. The 1.5-mile paved loop road provides visitors with the optimal viewing opportunity to enjoy a casual drive from the warmth of their car as they view approximately 250 beautiful LED light displays located throughout the 70-acre park. Many displays are animated or 3dimensional. Turn Christmas music on your car radio and enjoy the magical drive! Also check out Light Up Main, where you ll find 36 historic light poles festooned with large wreaths wrapped in over 600 bulbs. Christmas in the Ridge and Light Up Main are available to enjoy from Dec. 3 – 31.

Blytheville is home to Lights of the Delta, a perennial holiday favorite and one of the largest Christmas lights displays in the Mid-South region. With over 6 million lights, more than 48 major motion displays and numerous complimentary pieces, Lights of the Delta sits on a 40acre tract on the Arkansas Aeroplex (the former Eaker Air Force Base) with lake, trees, and paved roads to handle the approximately 1 -mile, family-oriented, holiday experience. Whether it is a visit with Santa, a stop at the souvenir stand, the various types of entertainment, the live nativity on selected nights, or just to see the lights in a car or on a hayride, there is something for everyone of all ages.
