Cleanup Crews

Top: Youngsters and adults teamed up to clear litter, brush and overgrown grass from neighborhood parks with the Lakeshore Community Improvement Group. Group members discovered two more manholes leaking sewage in the mobile home park replete with water and waste water problems which drew attention from the State Attorney General. The group continued to complain park managers failed to comply with agreements with the state. Bottom: Marion Cub Scouts and Scouts met up for a three hour litter patrol of the railway along Highway 77. The group wound up with big bags full of plastic shopping bags blown toward the tracks. Thanks go to units 72 and 172 for for the clean sweep.
