Patricia Ann White

Patricia Ann White passed away on Feb. 3, 2021, in her home in Marion, Arkansas. She was born Dec. 9, 1946, in Decatur, Illinois, as Patricia Ann Bruner, to William and Geraldine Bruner. She was one of ve children.

Patricia lived with her family in Decatur for 16 years before moving to Arkansas, where she met her husband of 46 years, J.C. White. She spent her early years among family and friends in Arkansas, Illinois, and Florida. Patricia was a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Heth, Arkansas, and retired after 23 years of devoted service. She spent her retired years among her family and enjoyed yard sales and spending time with her great-grandchildren.

She was known to many as “Patty” and will be cherished and remembered by many family and friends. Patricia leaves behind a large family, including a sister, Deborah Sapp of Florida; her daughter Sherri (White) Laws of Marion, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Jessica Anderson and Dustin Laws of Marion, Arkansas; and two great-grandchildren: Eli Anderson and Christian Armor of Marion, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father; her sister, Rita Appling; brother, Jeff Bruner; sister, Jeannie Bruner; and her husband. Patricia wishes to be alongside her husband, who rests at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas. Her ashes will be interred there following a memorial service to occur on a later date.
