FCMC announces partnership to improve access to physical therapy services

FCMC Marketing Coordinator FORREST CITY— Forrest City Medical Center announced last week an agreement with Marion-based Fenter Physical Therapy to now provide for hospital patients requiring postoperative physical therapy services.

“It has always been our goal to broaden local access to physical therapy services and we're proud to join with Fenter to accomplish this expansion,” said Dr. John Ballard, Chief Executive Officer of Forrest City Medical Center. “Fenter has a great reputation locally, and a demonstrated level of highquality, patient-centered care. Combined, we are able to improve patients' experience by streamlining the postoperative recovery process and providing access to physical therapy before patients are discharged home to continue healing.”

Fenter Physical Therapy has been operating in the Delta since 2007, growing from a three-person team to approximately 50 full-time employees across five locations in Eastern Arkansas.
