Father and son arrested on drug charges

Pair facing multiple counts after multiagency effort

ralphhardin@gmail.com A father and son were arrested last Thursday after police made a search of their residence in Marion.

“The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division, in cooperation with the Marion Police Department and the West Memphis Police Department served a search warrant this morning at a residence located in Delta Acres in Marion,” explained Crittenden County Sheriff Mike Allen. “Officers arrested a father and son at the residence.”

Arrested were Ricky Lee McDaniel, 45, and Christian McDaniel, 19.

The elder McDaniel is charged with two counts of Delivery of Meth or Cocaine (2 grams or less).

The younger McDaniel is charged with Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance with the Purpose to Deliver, also a felony charge.

Both McDaniels were taken into custody to the Crittenden Couty Detention Center. They were both released on bond on Thursday afternoon.
