Matthew Bryan Robbins

Matthew Bryan Robbins, age 49, loving daddy to Lily, beloved son and brother and great friend to so many across this country, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

Matt was a graduate of West Memphis Christian School; and Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. Matt spent his life as an educator, as a school teacher initially, then followed his love of politics to manage a winning campaign in the Virginia House of Delegates in 2004, and then as regional director on the 2008 McCain-Palin presidential campaign, and political director for the Californian Republican Party. He served as director of training at The Leadership Institute, but was perhaps best known as National Executive Director of American Majority where he would teach over 40,000 candidates on every level how to run successful campaigns. Most recently Matt focused on consulting, of which serving as Deputy co-ordinator of War Veterans PAC, made him particularly proud. Matt was known for his winsome personality, his knowledge of motion pictures and comic books, his quick wit, his voice of reason when it came to politics and his deep devotion to his daughter. He will be terribly missed by family and all that were fortunate enough to call him their friend.

Matthew is survived by his beloved daughter Lily Ruby Robbins, his parents, Don and Charlotte P. Robbins of West Memphis, Arkansas, his two brothers; Donald Robbins (Kim) of Germantown, Tennessee and Stephen Robbins of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Buddy and Ruby Robbins of Trumann, Arkansas and Charles Pollock and Millie Owens of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

A visitation was held at the Missouri Street Church of Christ in West Memphis, Arkansas on June 2, 2020. Services were held on June 3, 2020 also at the Missouri Street Church of Christ. Burial took place at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
