Eugene ‘Butch’ Hazlewood

Eugene “Butch” Hazlewood Eugene “Butch” Hazlewood, 81, of West Memphis, Arkansas, passed away on April 1, 2020. He was born on September 4, 1938, in Memphis, Tenn., to Gene and Dana Hazlewood.

Butch was a member of Colonial Estates Church of Christ in Marion, Arkansas. He loved golf and was a huge fan of the Memphis Tigers. What made him happiest was spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cole; his daughter, Paige Moore (Lee); his grandchildren, Kayla Williams, Taylor Moore (Allison), and Peyton Moore; his great-grandchild, Rhett Moore; his brother, Mike Hazlewood (Mary Sue); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Dana Hazlewood; his great-grandchildren, Jack Williams and Jill Williams.
