FREE FISHING

West Memphis Parks Director Lorenzo Parker told city council Gammon Lake at Tillden Rodgers Park remained open for fishing during the Coronavirus threat. The Arkansas Game and Fish Department declared no fishing license needed in the state from Saturday, March 21, through Sunday ,March 29. Parker said the lake is stocked and asked fisherman to maintain social distancing, like this trio at the park Thursday night. Parker also stated the walking trail would open to bicyclists. For now only the south driveway to the park is open due to construction.
