Soup Sunday — Families in Transition’s annual “Soup Sunday” fundraiser will be held on Sunday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Tacker’s Shake Shack, 409 Military Rd.

in Marion. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Meal includes: Soup or Chili, Cornbread, Crackers, Chips, Cheese, a beverage and a homemade dessert. Tickets can be purchased through Families in Transition board members, by going to the FIT Facebook page, or by calling (870) 732-4077.

Families in Transition is a West Memphis-based nonprofit providing shelter, safety and support services to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, teen dating violence, sexual assault and elder abuse.

• Survivors Support Group — Families in Transition is hosting a “Surviving Family Members of Victims of Homicide” Support Group meeting on Thursday, March 12, at 6 p.m. at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 209 Park Drive, in West Memphis. The group provides ongoing emotional support to help people deal with the pain of their loss and rebuild thier lives. For More information contact: Jeanetta Gilliam at (901) 422-1793.

• ‘The Reluctant Dragon’ — West Memphis First United Methodist Church presents ‘The Reluctant Dragon,” a studet play featuring local young actors. Saturday, March 14, at 6 p.m., at FUMC, 215 N. • Art & Soul VII — Now in its seventh year Mid-South Health Systems, in partnership with ASU Mid-South and Delta-ARTS, presents “Art and Soul” art show, debuting this Thursday night, March 19. ASU Mid-South is playing host once again for the exhibit and the opening reception, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in ASU Mid-South’s Donald W.

Reynolds Center. Proceeds from the artwork sold at Art & Soul goes to the artists. Artwork may be purchased during the opening reception or by calling DeltaARTS after the opening at (870) 732-6260.

• Steudlein Fish Fry

— The annual Steudlein Learning Center Fish Fry fundraiser will be Friday, March 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. Drive-thru and pick-up orders only. $12 per plate. Ticket must be presented when you pick up your plate. Drop by the office as Steudlein to purchase tickets. Proceeds will benefit Stuedlein Learning Center studenrs. Special thanks to Tacker’s Shake Shack. Steudlein is located at 207 Balfour Rd., in West Memphis.
