Blue Devil a Star on Two Courts

West Memphis freshman two-sport star Samantha Holt not only man’s the libero position for the Blue Devils volleyball team, she recenly competed in the Class 5A State Tennis Tournament. On Monday morning, Holt won her first-round match, defeating Sheridan’s Gloria Chorico 6-3, 6-1. Holt’s postseason run came to an end later that afternoon when she lost a close match to Abigail Woodring of Greenwood in the next round, 7-5, 7-6.
