Runn for Dunn this Saturday

“Riders, it’s that time of year again to help our fallen riders and their families!” says Amber Dunn, who is heading up the 5th annual “Runn for Dunn” Charity Poker Run. “This year we will be donating our earnings to help the family of Ryan Curle.”

As always this event includes a bounce house for the kids, live entertainment, cornhole tournament, 50/50 drawing, chicken drop, T-shirts, food, a live auction and so much more!

It all starts and ends at 40 et 8 Voiture 1521, located at 152 Legion Rd., in West Memphis. First bike out by 8 a.m. Last bike out by 9 a.m.

“The course is TBA but starts right here at the 40 and usually heads west with riders returning to post, typically before noon,” says Dunn.

The $20 entrance fee for each bike includes a hand-designed commemorative T-shirt. $10 for additional riders (includes T-shirt).

“This is an all-ages event,” said Dunn. “I would also like to honor the memory of one of our Runn for Dunn founders and 40 et 8, former head Keith Walters who passed away this past year. Without his generosity and the passionate response of their post members, we would not have this event and my family would have never had the money to bury my brother Ryan Dunn after whom our even is named.

The Runn for Dunn, named for Ryan Dunn, who passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident in April of 2015 at the age of 23. The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 14.

One of the highlights of this year’s event will be the “Runn for Dunn” Cornhole Tournament. $15 entry fee.
