Transformational Life Church, 100 N. Hwy. 147, will have a special Women’s Day celebration, on Sunday, Sept. 8, beginning at 2 p.m. Special guests include Shady Grove M.B. Church Mass Choir and Prophetess Sheena Walker of Greater Community Temple. All are welcome! Pastor Courtney Hill, Pastor.

• Pastor Celebration —

Mt. Calvary M. B. Church will be celebrating Pastor Gary Hibbler’s 19th year with an appreciation program Sunday, Sept. 8 beginning at 3 p.m. Guest Master of Ceremoney will be Pastor Joe L. Harris of Tabernacle of Faith Church and Pastor Anthony Coleman of the Marion Church of God In Christ will be guest speaker.

Minister Roosevelt Fleming is the chairperson and Pastor Gary Hibbler is the host. The public is invited to attend.

• Family & Friends Day Event — Members of he House of Prayer, Edmondson C.O.G.I.C., 113 Wofford St., Edmondson, are inviting the community to their Family and Friend’s Day service, Sunday, Sept.

22, 2019 beginning at 3 p.m. Speaker will be Pastor Raymond Charles Govan, of Harvest Outreach Ministries in Jonesboro.

• Anniversary Celetration — New Hope Church, 817 S. 14th St., West Memphis, will be celebrating pastor’s and wife’s 15th anniversary in leadership, Sunday beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Some of the special guests will be Bishop Terry Williams along with members of the Semmes Street Baptist Church, Memphis.

Pastor Troy McClenton said the public is invtited to the celebration as well as Sunday school and worship services beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday.

• Community Prayer Service — Grace Baptist Church, 1399 Missouri St., West Memphis, will be conducting a special Community Prayer Service, Thursday, Sept. 12, beginning at 7 .m. The service is being held over cocerns of the increase in crime and drugs in the community.

• Old St. Paul Invitation — The Old St. Paul Church family is inviting the public to participate in worship services Sunday beginning at 8:45 a.m. as well as worship services beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Anthony willbe preachng the word of God There will be no children’s church or youth service Sunday, Sept. 8.

Pastor Anthony will be guest speaker at True Vine Bapist Church, Neuhardt, for their building fund service Sunday Sept. 8 beginning at 2:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

• Fish Fry Time — Mt.

Calvary Church, 2101 E.

Jackson St., West Memphis, will be having a fish fry Saturday, Sept. 7, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Plates are $7 that includes fried fish, spaghetti,cole slaw and cake.Mother Delcine Gree and Betty Collins are the chairpersons.

The public is encouraged to participate and enjoy.

• Pre-Love Program Set — The New Beginning Outreach Ministry, 135 S.

9th St., West Memphis, is inviting one and all to a Pre-Love Program Sunday, Sept. 8, beginning at 3 p.m., Pastor W. J. Coleman said.

The speaker for the special event will be Pastor Gibson and the Anthonyville Church.

“Come lift up the Lord with Us,” Pastor Coleman said.

• Blessings Through Faith — Blessings Through Faith Church, 5169 S. Waverly Rd., will be celebrating its 29th anniversary Sunday, Sept.

8, beginning at 3 p.m.

Special guests will be Elder Donald Chambers of Healing Temple, Memphis and Elder James Parker, Morning Star, West Memphis.

On Wednesday, Elder Fredrick Dorsey will preach and on Thursday Apostle Adam Davis, Word On The Move Church, West Memphis, will be honored guest along with Elder Willie Robinson of Mt. Olive M.B.C., Proctor.

On Friday, Sister Sharanda Berden of Divine Gateway, West Memphis, and Elder Patrick Moody of Shaddi, Marion will offer services.

On Sunday beginning at 3 p.m. Dr. Mathew Brown of New El Bethel Church, will preach.

• New Salem Homecoming — New Salem M.B.

Church, 1940 Waverly Rd., in West Memphis, will be hosting a special 132nd Homecoming service and celebration, Sunday, Sept.

8, beginning at 11 a.m.

This special anniversary service will include a special message from Pastor James Reynolds Jr. They are asking all members past and present, as well as friends and the community to join in and be a part of the worship service.
