So, how are all these gun control laws working out for you?

Boy Ralph, I bet you’re all juiced up over these dimwitted Democratic presidential contenders running around the country spouting off absolutely ridiculous gun control measures.

You know as well as I Ralph this political propaganda is nothing more than an emotional reaction to the senseless mass shootings which these socialistic minded liberals are hoping will boost their mediocre chances of winning their Democratic Party’s presidential nomination to go up against Donald Trump next year.

This anti-gun debate has been going on for as long as I can remember and it only gets worse when these liberal leftists attempt to jump on the bandwagon on the heels of a tragic mass shooting such as the most recent on in El Paso, Texas that resulted in 22 people dying.

I found it interesting that among the special guests attending the Arkansas Democratic Party’s biggest fund raiser, known as no other than the Clinton Dinner in Little Rock the other day, was this character by the name of Beto O’Rourke. O’Rourke also went around the state trying to drum up support spouting off his ridiculous ideas for gun-control measures that he said would resonate, even in conservative states like Texas and Arkansas.

Now Ralph, you know as well as I this guy’s got a snowball’s chance in hell getting the voters support in Arkansas or even Texas especially going around talking about confiscating our guns.

Then we had a visit from this liberal anti-gun woman from Minnesota by the name of Sen. Amy Klobuchar who was going around saying if she were elected president she too would put all sorts of ridiculous and ineffective restrictions on gun ownership.

The emotion-based arguments these leftists Democrats are spouting off do absolutely nothing to solve this major problem and all of this talk clearly infringes on the liberties of law-abiding citizens.

Let me make it vividly clear Ralph all this garbage coming from these anti-gun morons means absolutely nothing to the criminals because, as you know, they don’t obey the laws that we already have in place.

And, let me dispel this feeble idea that places with strict gun laws don’t have shooting problems. As I have said time and time again that is false. Just look at Chicago, a city with some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation. Just so far this year there have been at least 300 homicides and 1,600 people shot. In just one recent weekend here were 52 people wounded by gunfire throughout the city.

This talk and promise of reducing guns will reduce gun violence is also clearly not true. However, even it were true our goal should be to reduce all violence.

Completely eradicating gun violence wouldn’t have stopped the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Boston marathon bombing, the serial bombings in Austin, Texas, or other violent crimes.

Let me ask you Ralph where does this idea that socalled gun-free zones are safe spaces. They aren’t. In fact, the opposite is true. Gun-free zones are simply a magnet for mass shooters. Almost every mass shooting we have experienced has occurred in a gun-free zone.

There is a lot of gum-flapping going on among these liberal idiots that there needs to be a ban on high capacity magazines and they claim that by stopping to reload, a mass shooter can be stopped.

Listen Ralph, the facts don’t support this. One of the Columbine shooters used 10-round magazines, and the Virginia Tech shooter used mostly 10-round magazines.

I am going to end this on making it clear that the common theme among most of these arguments is that more laws will make us safer. You know and well as I do that this simply isn’t the case. All the ridiculous laws these idiots are going around saying they will impose upon the law-abiding citizens won’t do a darn thing to stop the criminals. Guns are simply not the problem regardless of how bad you try to make them out to be.
