Mrs. Patricia Diane Kanaan
Mrs. Patricia Diane Kanaan, of Marion, departed this life on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, in Foley, Alabama, at the age of 51. Patricia was born in West Memphis on Monday, Nov. 27, 1967, the daughter of Charles Wayne and Ruby Kathleen Kirk.
Mrs. Kanaan was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandparents, Thurman and Lucille Kirk; and maternal grandparents, Willi Lee and Maudie Kathleen Keel.
She is survived by her husband, Mamon Kanaan; her mother, Ruby Kirk of West Memphis; a son, Jafar Kanaan of the home; a daughter, Alantas Kanaan of the home; a stepson, Yzan Kanaan of the home; a brother, Richard Kirk of West Memphis; a sister, Barbara McMahand-Gilbert of Cherry Valley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at Thompson- Wilson Wynne Funeral Home with Brother Cletus Kirk officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Fisher, David Fisher, Connor Gilbert, Michael Pruitt, Chad Tallant, and Thomas Taylor. Honorary pallbearer is T.J. Taylor.
