Redbirds at home this weekend for special nights

Fireworks, Giveaways, Back-to-School nights on tap at AutoZone Park

AutoZone Park Media Relations MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Redbirds are back in action at AutoZone Park tonight as part of a seven-game homestand against the Albuquerque Isotopes (Rockies) and El Paso Chihuahuas (Padres).

Fans can take home two giveaways this homestand, as the first 1,500 fans at Elvis Night on Friday get a free Memphis t-shirt with Elvis’ famous pink Cadillac on it, presented by Carvana. On Sunday, the first 2,000 fans receive a Redbirds Wiffle Ball bat, courtesy of Prairie Farms Dairy.

Saturday’s game is Back to School Night presented by Walmart, where the first 1,500 kids ages 12 and under will receive a free fully-loaded backpack to help prepare for the upcoming school year.

The new backpacks will be stuffed with pencils, crayons, notebooks, one folder, one glue stick, Kleenex, and hand sanitizer.

On Saturday, fans can also enjoy the first Terminix Fireworks Show in three weeks, launched up close and personal from center field.

Food and beverage lovers have a full plate this week, as there are $2 beers and $1 hot dogs on Thursday as part of Throwback Thursday presented by Polk’s Meat Products, as well as different specialty ticket options throughout the week that include all-youcan- eat tacos, free ballpark food and free Chick-fil-A, or free and discounted food and drinks at Aldo’s Pizza Pies.
