Memphis 901 FC Media MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Regional sports fans might be more familar with the name Brandon Allen as the moniker of the former Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback now with the Los Angeles Rams with that name. But Brandon Allen of Hogs fame shares the name with Memphis 901 FC forward Brandon Allen, who was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week following his two-goal performance in 901 FC’s draw against second-place New York Red Bulls II on Saturday.

With Memphis trailing 2-0, Allen scored his first goal as a member of 901 FC in the 48th minute off a beautiful pass by Lagos Kunga, who entered as a substitute at the break.
