We’re In This Together


“Children make up 50 perent of our population, but they are 100 percent of our future.” That was the message Mayor Marco McClendon (left) had when he spoke with WMDS superintendent Jon Collins (right) and other representatives from the West Memphis School District on the importance of providing safe and modern learning environments for the community. “Now is our best chance to help impact students and our city for years to come,” McClendon said as the school district gears up for an important millage vote this fall.
