Holy Week service schedule set

The West Memphis-Marion Ministerial Fellowship has set the schedule for Holy Week services this Easter season.

The special services on the week leading up to Easter Sunday will be held on Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, at churches across the community.

All services will start at 12:05 p.m., and lunch will be provided after each service. • Monday – at Calvary Baptist Church, West Memphis. Speaker: David Young, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, West Memphis.

• Tuesday – at Marion Methodist Church, Marion.

Speaker: Bill Buchanan, pastor of First United Methodist Church, West Memphis.

• Wednesday – at First Baptist Church West Memphis. Speaker: Larry Brown, Executive Director, 8th Street Mission for Jesus Christ, West Memphis.

• Thursday – at Victory Church of the Mid-South, West Memphis. Speaker: David Dobbs, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, West Memphis.

• Friday – at 8th Street Mission for Jesus Christ, West Memphis. Speaker: Mike Smith, pastor Victory Church of the Mid-South, West Memphis.

Offerings will be taken each day to assist with benevolent needs in our community through the Ministerial Fellowship’s efforts.
