West Memphis Church of God set for annual Winter Festival

Experience ‘The Magic of Christmas’ Nov. 17

It’s that time of year again, The West Memphis Church of God will be having their Annual Winter Festival ‘The Magic of Christmas’ on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the church gym located at 311 W.

Bond St., West Memphis Doors will open at 8 a.m.

and continue until 3 p.m.

This year there will be the Famous Bake Sale, featuring many baked items.

There will be cakes, pies, candies, breads, casseroles and more. Many ‘tasty’ items for you to purchase and enjoy or share with others.

Also, there will be traditional ‘Sugar Plum Cafe’ with wonderful foods to enjoy. The ladies will be selling and serving breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You will enjoy the tasty foods in this wonderful cafe.

This year the Country Store is back with gift items, specialty candies and various other Christmas Treasures.

Additionally there will be the opportunity to have a Picture with Santa at various times from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

New this year is Reindeer Crossing, which is fun activities for the kids.

Another new addition is a Silent Auction which will feature many wonderful items up for grabs.

Finally there will be a variety of outside venders with such items as Handmade Items from wood and burlap, home decor, Pink Zebra products, jewelry, designed T-shirts, children’s books, scented soaps, home canned items and much more.

Your are invited to come and purchase food items and gifts for yourself, or that special gift for someone on your Christmas list.

Don’t miss this special event and a wonderful time of shopping, eating and enjoying the beginning of the Christmas Season.
