What’s New at the Horseshoe Lake Library?

Horseshoe Lake Library has a number of new books (see list below). If these are not what you are looking for please come to the library on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 12 noon until 5 p.m. and check out our catalogue. Librarian, Nikki Walker is trying to fill in missing popular books, in series, by your favorite authors. They are preparing for a great summer reading program for the children.

They are also working on adding a museum wall of Horseshoe Lake Past, at the Library. If you have some old picture of times past, please bring them in. She can scan them, and give them right back to you. She has been looking for the last 10 years, for a picture of the light house that was on top of the Surf Club, when it was first built. If you have one please bring it to the library.

In the very near future, she plans on a History Night, where you can bring your favorite stories of Horseshoe Lake, to share. There will be a Power Point Program provided. She will post the date in paper and at Bonds. She plans to bring library cards to the next Horseshoe Lake Town Hall meeting, so that you can all sign up to use the library and resources. New arrivals include: Andria Williams “The Longest Night” Brad Thor “Code of Conduct” Brad Thor “Full Black” Brad Thor “The Athena Project” Danielle Steel “Blue” Dean Koontz “Ashley Bell” Kristina McMorris “The Edge of Lost” Mary Alice Monroe “The Summer's End” Nicholas Sparks “See Me” Sven Beckert “Empire of Cotton: A Global History” ***
