George Hampton, Jr.
George Hampton, Jr., 74, of West Memphis died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at Methodist Hospice. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. at N. J. Ford & Sons Parkway Chapel. Services will be Saturday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ with Bishop Milton R. Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Hill Midtown Cemetery. He leaves a wife, Mary; five daughters; one son; one stepson; two stepdaughters; two sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
David F. Jones
David F. Jones, 64, of Bentonville passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at his home in Bentonville. Mr. Jones was born Sept. 4, 1652, in Forrest City to Raymond Franklin and Neva Atrell Watson Jones. Mr. Jones was retired from West Memphis Police Department and also retired from Walmart Stores in Management. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Barbara Jones of Bentonville; two daughters, Amanda Loughridge and husband Brent of Prairie Grove and Elizabeth Lougo and husband Viktor of Bentonville; brother, James Ray Jones of Palestine; grandchild Paislee Loughridge, and one on the way. In-lieu of flowers the family ask to make donations to Bella Vista Animal Shelter, 32 Bella Vista Way, Bella Vista, AR 72714. A memorial service for Mr. Jones will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at Avondale Chapel, 2005 East Central Ave., Bentonville, Arkansas. Mrs. Lillie Mae Mills, 79, of West Memphis, passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at Methodist University Hospital. Visitation Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services 11 a.m. Friday at Old St. Paul Church with burial in Birdeye National Cemetery. She leaves three daughters, Janice Mills of West Memphis, Joyce Luster of Clarksville, Tenn. and Bernice Thomas of Chicago, Ill.; three sons, James Mills of West Memphis, Alphonso Mills of Killeen, Texas and Gary Mills of Harker Heights, Texas; a sister, Lillian Hardin of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Cleo Hardin of Swanzie, Ill. and Perry Hardin of St. Louis, Missouri; 25 grandchildren and 39 greatgrandchildren.

Jane Snipes Mullen, 67, of Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 at Baptist East Hospital. Services Saturday 2 p.m. at Uncle John’s Restaurant (Crawfordsville). Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She leaves her husband Edward Evans Mullen of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Traci Ward of West Memphis; two sons, Jeffery S. Mullen of Jonesboro and Peter Nelson Hold of Wilmington, North Carolina; two sisters, Millie Snipes Piwonka of Tyler, Texas and Elizabeth Sayers of Green Valley, Ariz.; a brother, Farrington B. Dorotha Quillin, 82, of West Memphis, passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Hattie Poole; a brother, Edward Poole; and a sister, Geneva Johnson. She was survived by her son, John Johnson of West Memphis; her daughter, Barbara Charlton (David) of West Memphis,; five grandchildren, Brandy Byron, Tim Charlton, Nathan Johnson, Celeste Johnson, John Johnson; and three greatgrandchildren.
